My name is Matthew Loiacono, and I am a tenth-grade student at Tuckahoe High School in Westchester, NY. I have been given the opportunity to become a Student Ambassador with the People to People, Student Ambassador Program. I will be traveling to several countries in Europe.

Unfortunately, at the present time, I don't have the necessary funds to make this opportunity a reality. I do, however, have until June, 2008, to raise the money I need. For my part, I have been selling my origami creations down at the local C-Town here in Chester Heights, and the shoppers there have been very generous. I have also been tutoring and babysitting and have earned nearly $2,000 toward the cost of my trip.

I am asking for any help you can give, by donating whatever you can afford. Even one dollar will help, because it all adds up.
